In 2018, Zrinka invited me to be one of the collaborators in this dance performance. Zrinka’s focus was on the dancing body as a montaged body. A body that is built from cut-outs and moves through exploding these cut-outs, only to later start making strange connections between the resulting particles.

From being one of the thinking partners, my role slowly morphed into a travelling dramaturg and touring companion of the piece. We travelled to quite a few festivals and had the chance to shape and reshape the piece according to the very different spatial conditions we were presented with.

My biggest pleasure was to observe how Zrinka’s inner circumstances were also changing, presenting me, as an outside eye, with details and layers that I would encounter for the first time.
